Latest NewsTransformation on target for Spring 2008Sarnia, ON (May 1, 2007) – The transformation of First Sarnia Place’s middle seven floors to luxury condominiums continues to progress towards a spring 2008 moving date for the first phase of suite owners who have chosen a life of luxury by the city’s downtown waterfront. Anyone travelling in the vicinity of 201 Front Street will have seen signs of the transformation, with a visible change occurring to the exterior profile of the downtown landmark. Covered balconies, to grace each condominium suite, have been created with the installation of new exterior windows. Railing are scheduled for installation this month. The unique suite feature, exclusive to First Sarnia Place in the Sarnia area, has been designed to enhance residents’ enjoyment of their exceptional view and location. Upcoming EventsWe’re Offering Something New to Condo/Apartment ResidentsFirst Sarnia Place is presenting something truly different for the next in our series of educational seminars: how to balcony garden. Why not plan to join us and share with your audience The Ins and Outsides of Balcony Gardening? Lynn England, expert gardener and manager of the Perennials and Annuals Department at DeGroot's Nurseries, Sarnia, will open participants’ minds to a whole realm of creative possibilities. Her ideas and suggestions will be readily visible during her experience-based seminar, as she will be using the fabulous interior balcony in our First Sarnia Place model suite to demonstrate key aspects of her presentation. Judging from the initial response to our seminar invitation, it's apparent that many condo and apartment dwellers have been wondering how to make their balconies more distinctive and pleasurable. Drawing from her indepth, personal experience and DeGroot's extensive, high-quality resources, Lynn's down-to-earth approach will set participants well on the way to creating their own private oasis. She'll discuss a variety of how-to topics, including the effective use of colours, shapes, textures and fragrances to gain year-round enjoyment. Participants will also receive a generous helping of practical tips about the efficient use of balcony space and plant care. As with all of our First Sarnia Place seminar leaders, Lynn will be available after the seminar for your one-on-one interviews. There will be opportunities for photo taking during the seminar and afterwards in Lynn’s demonstration floral balcony. The 45-minute formal presentation will be held in the 9th floor model suite, 201 Front Street North,Sarnia, ON, on April 30, 2008, starting at 4 p.m. sharp. Seating is limited and by reservation only.
